Since 2015 we have taken on gut renovations, additions, ground-up construction, brownstone restoration, roofing, facades, and commercial buildouts. We take on work we can stand behind, treat the property with respect, and do the work properly.

Whole-home and whole-apartment gut renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and interior construction — from focused renovations through multi-million-dollar projects, including homes that stay occupied during the work.

Rear, vertical, rooftop, and garage additions, new floors, and ground-up construction, with architect, engineer, and DOB coordination through framing, enclosure, and interior completion.

Co-op Gut Renovation

Two adjacent co-op apartments combined into one home — taken back to the studs and rebuilt as a single residence, with board and management coordination handled alongside the construction.

Rear Extension

An approximately 400 SF rear extension built while the family continued living in the home, with the design coordinated by our architect and engineers.

Multifamily Roof Replacement

Bushwick, BrooklynRoofing

An approximately 6,000 SF roof removed down to the plywood and rebuilt with new decking and a flat roof system. Existing gutters were retained.

Why Atlantic Home Renovation

  • One project manager

    Every project has a dedicated PM. They are your main contact and coordinate the trades, design professionals, DOB, inspections, and building management.

  • Updates on your schedule

    Daily, hourly, weekly, or on a set schedule, depending on what the project needs. Progress photos are shared when they're useful.

  • Design coordination

    Bring your own architect and engineer or we provide them. Either way, we coordinate drawings, filings, approvals, and inspections.

  • NYC approvals

    DOB permits and violations, LPC requirements where applicable, and the rules set by co-op boards, condo management, and landlords.

  • In-house trades

    In-house plumbers and electricians where appropriate, with qualified trade partners when needed. Applicable permits and inspections are handled.

  • Respect for the property

    Demolition, disposal, and protection of the work area, common areas, and neighboring spaces are planned in from the start.

How a project runs

Five coordinated stages, from existing-condition review through final cleanup and handover.

    Discover

    We get to know the property, your goals, existing conditions, constraints, and expectations.

  2. 02

    Plan

    Scope, architects and engineers, materials, building requirements, and logistics are coordinated. You can buy materials yourself or we can coordinate procurement.

  3. 03

    Prepare

    Applicable DOB and LPC requirements, permits, insurance documentation, building coordination, and scheduling are handled before work starts.

  4. 04

    Build

    A dedicated project manager runs the trades, protects the property, and keeps you updated. Change orders are confirmed with you before extra work proceeds.

  5. 05

    Complete

    Inspections and punch-list work are completed, then we walk through the finished work with you and check it against the agreed scope.

Pre-war walls, co-op boards, DOB and LPC requirements, tight access, and neighbors on the other side of every partition. Since 2015 our work has included around 40–50 co-op and condo renovations, 30–35 brownstone projects, and 30+ commercial projects. Several of our teams work across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island every day.
